Turkey Youth Union Association (TGBDER) provodi projekt “Learn to Learn” s partnerstvu sa Savezom gluhih i nagluhih grada Zagreba koji je sufinanciran od strane Europske unije i Republike Turske kroz natječaj Civil Society Dialogue-IV: Education Grant Scheme. Glavni cilj projekta je razvoj inovativnih i kvalitetnih metodologija neformalnog obrazovanja za gluhe i nagluhe osobe odrasle. U okviru projekta, od 15. – 19. listopada 2016. u Istanbulu i Ankari, 4 predstavnika Saveza (izvršna direktorica Saveza Mirjana Juriša, Gordana Vuger, Dorijana Kavčić i Marija Novina – Nicolescu) su zajedno s predstavnicima TGBDER-a obišlo nekoliko nevladinih organizacija koje rade s gluhim i nagluhim odraslim osobama. Tijekom studijskog posjeta bili smo informirani od strane udruga i javnih tijela o trenutnom stanju i problemima gluhih u Turskoj, osobito u pogledu obrazovanja, uključivanja i sudjelovanja u društvu. Osim toga, bili smo informirani o projektu standardizacije turskog znakovnog jezika. Udruge i javna tijela koja smo posjetili su: Turski savez gluhih, Udruga gluhih i nagluhih Şişli, Udruga Dem, Demgoodcoffee, Udruga gluhih i nagluhih i njihovih obitelji, Akademiju İşaret Adam, Ministarstvo obitelji i socijalne politike, osoba s invaliditetom i starijih, glavna uprava, odjel za obrazovanje, rehabilitaciju i socijalno sudjelovanje.

Turkey Youth Union Association (TGBDER) has been implementing the “Learn to Learn” Project with the partnership of The Association of the deaf and hard of hearing of the city of Zagreb which is co-financed by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey through the Civil Society Dialogue-IV: Education Grant Scheme. The main goal of the Project is to develop innovative and quality methodologies of the non-formal education for the deaf and hard of hearing adults. Within the Project, between 15-19 October 2016 in İstanbul and Ankara, 4 representatives of the SGINGZ (executive director Mirjana Juriša, Gordana Vuger, Dorijana Kavčić i Marija Novina – Nicolescu), together with representatives of the TGBDER have visited several NGOs that are working with deaf and hard of hearing adults. During the study visit we have been informed by the NGOs and the public bodies about the current situation and the problems of the deaf in Turkey, particularly in terms of education, inclusion and social participation. Moreover, we have been informed about the Project of Standardization of the Turkish Sign Language System. NGOs andpublic bodies we have visited are: Turkish National Federation of the Deaf, Şişli Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Dem Association, Demgoodcoffee, The Deaf and Hard of Hearing and their Families Association, İşaret Adam Academy, Ministry of Family and Social Policy Disabled and Elderly Services general directorate, department of Education, Rehabilitation and Social Participation.
